When to use this

• You are about to vote on an action where you have a funding, employment, or personal relationship to a party involved.
• You are joining the Institute and need a current baseline disclosure on file.
• A material change has occurred and your existing disclosure is now more than 14 days out of date.

When NOT to use this

• As a substitute for legal or regulatory advice about a specific obligation.
• To decide whether to recuse. Disclosure records the interest; the recusal judgement is separate.
• To publish details covered by a confidentiality agreement you have not cleared.

What you'll need

• Funding, grants, and payments received in the last 12 months
• Proposals you authored, co-authored, or advised on
• Employment, contracting, and advisory roles
• Delegation relationships of material size
• Family or close personal ties to proposers

How to interpret the result

• A disclosure records a relationship that a reasonable delegator would want to know about.
• Disclosing an interest does not mean you must abstain; it means the interest is visible.

• It is not legal advice, and it does not satisfy any external regulatory duty.
